Introduces students to salient psychological issues of Asian Americans. Taking into account the social, cultural and historical context of the Asian American experience, addresses values and cultural conflict in values, stereotypes and self-perception, family and intergenerational issues, identity development, acculturation, marriage and gender roles, vocational development, psychopathology and delivery of mental health services. This courses has been revised for spring 2016.
