This course is designed to help students become more comfortable speaking and presenting material in front of an audience. Students interested in performing arts,public speaking, academic presentation, and those who wish to become more proficient at job interviews, will explore their own passions and skill sets, as well as investigate areas they find themselves less attuned to. Class time will serve as a laboratory for students to bring in presentation and performance related activities that interest them, including but not limited to acting, music, dance, oral interpretation of literature (recitation of poetry and prose), oral reports, speeches, debate, and public speaking of all kinds. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Area 6
