This course will discuss the major issues, concepts, and methods of life span developmental psychology. The fundamental theories, distinctive methods, and the physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, motivational, and emotional development for each developmental phase of the life course are considered. We will also explore external influences affecting developmental processes and the relationships among the various threads of development from infancy to late adulthood. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: PO Area 2 Requirement
