Special Programs and Opportunities

Model U.N.

The Model U.N. at Pomona College offers students the opportunity to participate in an academic simulation of the U.N. General Assembly and its other bodies. Students become U.N. Member State delegates and debate global issues on the organization’s agenda, such as peace and security, human rights, economic and social development, and global health. Students gain experience in research, writing, public speaking, consensus building and conflict resolution. Team members will undertake national and international travel in order to participate in Model U.N. conferences.
