Interrogation of linguistics, conceptual and practical solipsisms that contribute to the construction and normalization of “Whiteness” in aesthetics and visual culture. Questions dialectics of “Blackness” and “Whiteness” that dominate Western intellectual thought and popular culture, thereby informing notions and representations of race, gender and women’s or media studies.
