This seminar course will explore the neural mechanisms of the stress response. Current research that focuses on the molecular and cellular basis of the stress response will be examined. Topics will include the HPA axis, acute stress, chronic stress, and stress related diseases. Letter grade only. Prerequisites: NEUR 101A PO .
