This course will teach the basics of running with an emphasis on learning to train and run wisely. The overall goal is to teach you have to incorporate running as a part of your overall fitness and health regimen. You will learn how to gradually build your endurance. Strength training, stretching, and injury prevention will also be covered. P/NP grading only. May be repeated for credit. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Physical Education
