Balinese Gamelan Ensemble (online version). Introduction to the Balinese gong kebyar gamelan ensemble and its related performance traditions. Online instruction about the history and culture of Balinese gamelan music, with a creative project at the end of the semester. Asynchronous engagement in addition to weekly synchronous meeting. No previous musical experience required. Half-course. P/NC grading only.
