This course in clinical neuropsychology has the goal of introducing students to premises and applications of neuropsychology. Neuropsychology is a specialization within Clinical Psychology involving clinical manifestations of disorders affecting the brain. The class will explore how the brain works (e.g. neuroanatomy and normal brain-behavior relationships) as well as specifics related to assessing and treating disorders of the brain. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: PSYC 051 PO or equivalent. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Area 2
