Beginning International Standard Dance is an introductory ballroom dance course. Students will learn the basics of the Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. This class will explore the social, competitive, and performative versions of the Standard Ballroom Dance category. No experience or equipment required. Casual students may take this class for two semesters, though more active dancers maybe move up after only one semester. P/NC only. May be repeated for credit.
