Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure-hunt game using GPS-enabled devices. Students navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Geocaching combines hiking (in the local foothills and area parks) and searching for geocaches, which vary in size from micro to ammo cans. The hikes increase in intensity as the class progresses. P/NC only. May be repeated for credit. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Physical Education
