A seminar on comparative health care policy among selected countries including the US. We will explore cost and access to health care and consider how some countries are successful in creating effective health care systems at a reasonable cost and others are not. We will also look at how different health care systems respond to the needs of key population groups including the affluent, the poor, the elderly, the LBGT community and immigrants. Letter grade only.
