This seminar will showcase current interdisciplinary research methods. Materials studied will include polymers, amorphous, polycrystalline and crystalline solids. Thermal, electronic and optical properties will be studied in relation to structure and composition. Topics may include diffraction, electron and scanned probe microscopies, magnetic resonances, spectroscopies and other techniques. This course has been revised for spring 2019.
