The course provides an overview of the field of geochemistry while introducing the tools and theory to address modern geologic problems and to fingerprint past geochemical processes preserved in the rock record. Topics range from low-temperature aqueous systems to high-temperature igneous and metamorphic systems. Prerequisite: One introductory geology course.
