Methods and techniques employed in the collection, analysis and presentation of qualitative data. Focus on ethnographic observation, interviewing and the use of focus groups. Attention to issues of validity, reliability and the researcher’s role in analysis of social action across a variety of contexts. Includes speaking intensive and presentation requirements.
