This seminar will investigate biological models for disorders traditionally defined as having a psychological origin. Biological models for depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and schizophrenia, among others, will be emphasized. Biological explanations will include theories of neurochemical and neuroanatomical deficits. Prerequisite: PSYC 131 PO or PSYC 143 PO . Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Area 2
