Includes the hydrologic cycle, surface and groundwater chemistry, geology of hydrologic systems and methods used for characterization of finite water resources, with special emphasis on problems inherent to Southern California. Field trip. Prerequisites: One course from GEOL020 series and MATH 030 PO .
