Requirements for a Minor in Psychological Science
Six courses are required: PSYC 051 PO and PSYC 157 PO ; one laboratory course (selected from PSYC 154 PO , PSYC 160 PO , and PSYC 162 PO ), two electives and a seminar (selected from the PSYC180 A-Z series).
Normally, up to two psychology courses that count toward a student’s major can be used for the psychological science minor. In order to ensure multiple areas of intellectual inquiry, a minor in psychological science cannot be combined with a major in Psychological Science/Public Policy Analysis, Psychological Science/Gender & Women’s Studies or STS with an emphasis in psychological science.
All courses for the minor must be taken for a letter grade. Ms. Smiley is advisor for the minor.
