This course explores the scientific method in the fields of genetics, endocrinology, physiology, development and evolution to see how biology informs our understanding of gender and identity. Discussion focuses on the use and abuse of the information generated by biological research and how science changes as cultural values and the political climate shift. Concurrent requisite: BIOL002ALPO. Satisfies the following General Education Requirement(s), subject to conditions explained in the Degree Requirements section of this Catalog: Area 4
