This course will examine the social neuroscience research supporting Robert Sapolsky’s “Behavior: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst”. We will explore the multiplicity of biological influences on human social behavior including, empathy, reading others, social interactions, categorizing others, morality, aggression, and free will.
