A hands-on introduction to optical instruments and techniques. Ray optics, building simple instruments, light detection methods, interference, and diffraction will be covered in this studio course that blends lectures, problem solving, and lab activities. Prerequisites: PHYS 070 PO or MATH 030 PO . Co-requisites: PHYS 101 PO .
