Students will be introduced to software engineering and the factors that contribute to successful projects. Students will learn about the processes involved in producing software and about how these processes are distinct from programming. Course topics include requirements engineering, mockups and UML diagrams, risk and project management. Students will work on projects in teams while simulating a software lifecycle. Prerequisites: CSCI 052 PO and CSCI 062 PO .
