CHEM 158A PO - Physical Chemistry with Laboratory

Quantum mechanics with applications to chemical bonding, molecular spectroscopy, and molecular modeling. Introduction to statistical mechanics. Related laboratory work with an emphasis on molecular modeling, spectroscopy, and data analysis. Prerequisites: CHEM 001B PO  or CHEM 051 PO ; MATH 032 PO  or MATH 067 PO . One semester of general physics and second semester of general physics as pre/co-requisite.
