GERM010 PO - Intensive Introduction to German Language and CultureWhen Offered: Each spring.Instructor(s): F. von Schwerin-High Credit: 1 GERM 010 offers an intensive introduction to spoken German, to listening comprehension and to German literature, culture and society. For an additional half credit students may participate in an intensive grammar lab (GRMT 014 PO). Depending on the individual level of enrollment and participation; the course prepares students for a variety of follow-up courses (GERM 011 PO, GERM 002 PO, GERM 013 PO) as well as for internship and study programs in Germany that are conducted primarily in English. Meets four hours a week with instructor. Fifth hour with native speaker.
