This course focuses on a variety of ethical issues that arise in medical ethics. Topics vary but can include: the permissibility of abortion, euthanasia, in vitro fertilization, stem cell research, and surrogacy as well as interpretations and implications of the terms "health," "disability," "enhancement" and "best interests of the patient."
