First-year and Transfer Students

SAT, ACT and SAT Subject Test Scores. Students have the option of self-reporting results from the SAT Reasoning Test, the ACT and/or SAT Subject Tests for consideration as part of their application for first-year admission. None of these test scores is required for the application. If scores are reported, the Admissions Committee will consider the highest section scores across all SAT or ACT test dates.

With each test result submitted, Pomona College will update records with any new individual high scores and this can benefit candidates by allowing Pomona College to fully consider the application with the context of best testing performance.

If admitted, students who have self-reported any test scores as part of their application, must provide official scores. Any discrepencies between self-reported and official scores my be grounds to rescind the offer of admission.
